Techint-Panedile Joint Venture- The constructor group responsible for the design
and construction of Los Caracoles Hydroelectric dam and power Station, who is
also in charge of obtaining the authorization for the Commisioning and start-up, hired
HISSA’s professional services for its start-up. Los Caracoles Plant is
being built on the San Juan River, in San Juan Province. Its installed capacity
amounts to 125 MW and it will supply an average 705 GWh per year. The filling
of the reservoir will begin in forthcoming October and subsequent start-up
tests
