PLANNING OF HYDRIC RESOURCES

The outstanding experience acquired in the administration of the hydric resources of Limay and Neuquén riverbeds amounting to 1,100 cubic mts/sec. covering an area of 100,000 sq. km., with a rain and snow hydrologic regime, allows HISSA to offer the following services:

• Planning and design of hydrometeorologic nets for obtaining basic data.
  
• Accomplishment of different kinds of specific mathematical equations necessary to evaluate the performance of riverbeds as from the basic data.
  
• Training of specialized personnel in charge of the operation of the systems of hydrologic control of riverbeds.
  
• Study and improvement of the available resources, with the purpose of its best exploitation, combining the different possible uses.
  
• Evaluation of regular flows of riverbeds to be taken into account in the contruction and operation of the hydraulic project.
  
• Development of specific projects on sanitation and control of the water quality for different purposes.
  
• Study and treatment of the different environmental issues related to the use of the water resource.
